Kara Sievewright is an artist, designer, and graphic recorder who is interested in translating complex information, stories, and ideas into meaningful graphics and visual narratives.

She creates comics, illustrations, infographics, posters, and more. She does live and digital graphic recording for meetings, webinars, community events, symposiums, and conferences.

She has a background in creative writing and community organizing and has been working with non-profit, social justice, health, legal, environmental, and education organizations for the past fifteen years.

Kara has also published fiction and non-fiction comics in magazines and anthologies. She has a MFA in Creative Writing from the University of British Columbia and is a collective member of the Graphic History Collective. You can see more of her art and comics on makerofnets.ca.

Kara lives in Daajing Giids, Haida Gwaii, as a settler on Haida territory.
